OUR STORY
Hello, we are the Soto family: Andy, Molly, Huxley & Beckem.
We found this piece of land in 2021 while driving around. Standing at the top of this hill, we knew this was a place unlike any others in this area. It took our breath away and ignited an inspiration within us that truly changed our lives.
Once we purchased the land, our dream became clear: to create a place that complements this land for others to experience. This led us to the architect behind this all, David Salmela, a true creative genius. David took our ideas and inspiration and designed a piece of art.
We call it Wanderloft.
In order to build this loft, we knew we needed to sell our home and move to the Northwoods. And so that is what we did! In 2023, we ventured from Kaukauna to Eagle River, rented a house from our parents and jumped feet-first into this project.
On November 11, 2024, Wanderloft officially started welcoming its first guests. And now, there is no turning back. We've poured our hearts into this project, striving to create an experience that allows people to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature, creativity, and yourself or others.
Whether you need to unwind, find inspiration, or simply enjoy the quiet, we built Wanderloft to deliver clarity.
